DERTFest 2022: Important reminders + day-of details
We're a week out from the event and want to be sure everyone has the information they need to get the most out of DERTFest
Hi all!
We hope everyone is getting excited for the best event of the year – DERTFest 2022! As the event approaches we wanted to remind everyone of some important details and share a few ways to get the absolute most out of our time together. Please read carefully, as there’s a lot of important info below. Without further ado…
Scheduling
DERTFest check-in will open officially at 12pm, with our Introductory Keynote starting at 12:30pm sharp. Please be sure to grab lunch before the conference, as we will only be serving light bites during our reception towards the end of the day
Sessions will run through 6pm, and we’ll wrap up with a networking reception
Throughout the day, DERTFest sponsors Virtual Peaker, Energy Hub, and Scale Microgrid Solutions will be offering in-person interviews for folks interested in learning more about their open roles. There’s still time if you want to get involved – just fill out this quick form to let us know!
For more detail on each session, check out our full agenda
Making the most of DERTFest
We highly recommend joining the #dertfest2022 channel in Slack, where you can see who else will be attending, coordinate dinner plans or other activities with fellow DERs nerds, and get involved in Q&A during the conference
Not able to attend in person? No worries — we’ll be livestreaming the conference so anyone from the community can tune in. Watch live here.
Register for the After After Party at Baby’s All Right! Your DERTFest 2022 ticket is separate from the After After Party, so please be sure to lock in your entry to Baby’s All Right if you haven’t already. And don’t be shy - we’d love for you to bring your friends! While the DER Task Force is a community of DERs nerds, we recognize the importance of welcoming the broader community into our conversations. And who doesn’t love a party?
Bring your dancing shoes – Baby’s All Right will feature live music from Austin Perea and his band Deathblow as well as Task Force friends from the international DJ collective wewenttocoachella
