Excellent pod y'all! We've been thinking about a market for resiliency in WA state and how VOLL, VOR123, and SLAs could layer into a solution.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Californias RES (resilient energy subscription) and microgrids incentive program...and whether you think that is a scalable approach to valuing resiliency in rate design?
Hi Markus! I’m also in WA and trying to apply these at distribution-grid-sized project level, not market-sized level. Would love to connect brandon@orourke.consulting
Great episode. I intend to write a summary of it for the Electricity Brain Trust (google group with 800 or so energy nerds). Can you tell me the names of the other two hosts (besides Duncan Cambell)?
