There’s all this stuff in the industry that you’re not suppose to say. At DERVOS, we just say it.
Back for the third annual, DERVOS 2024 will be better than ever on October 25th in Brooklyn, NY. We will be announcing some special events happening around the event, so keep your schedule and travel flexible on the 24th and 26th.
We expect to sell out again this year so move quickly on tickets.
If you absolutely cannot afford a ticket, apply for a scholarship here. A small quantity of tickets will be given away a few weeks before the summit.
Initial Speakers:
There are many more epic guests we’re in the process of confirming. Stay tuned!
Agenda:
Stay tuned, as we’ve got some exciting sessions in the works. And if you have any cool ideas to add to our cool ideas, definitely hit us up. (nicole@dertaskforce.com)
Showcase:
This year, we’re excited to welcome a new space at the event - a demo showcase. We will have a large space dedicated to individuals or organizations presenting projects in the forms of software, hardware, research and more. If you have something in mind that you’d like to showcase that is novel and important for the proliferation of DERs and/or the grid, submit your idea here.
Here’s the current showcase demos line-up (more to come):
Impulse Labs with their battery-equipped, super-performant induction stove
Westinghouse with their 5 MW eVinci microreactor
Paces AI with their badass electro-cartography software
Electric Era with their EV charging station command console
Location:
NEWLAB
We can’t leave our friends at NewLab, so this year we are expanding to include a large tented outdoor area to accommodate up to twice as many attendees!
This space is seriously dope. It’s home to over 800 entrepreneurs, engineers, and inventors, solving the world’s biggest challenges with leaders and experts across industries and cities. It really fits our vibe and we think you’ll love spending the day with us there.
Sponsors:
DER Task Force is run exclusively by volunteers, so we rely on your help! If your company would like to sponsor this event and see us work endlessly to advocate for distributed energy policy across the country, contact us about some unique sponsorship opportunities.
All of the money we raise goes straight into policy work, led by Allison Bates Wannop. At DERvos, we’ll unveil a lot more of our important work on this front.
